When you visit The Overlook, the "wow" moment doesn’t start when you open your dome door—it starts the moment you turn onto the property. We’ve designed our 100 acres to feel like a private sanctuary where every turn in the path offers a new perspective of the Red River Gorge.

Finding Your Sanctuary

While all our domes offer a similar curated luxury experience, we have a few "hidden gems" depending on what you’re looking for:

• The Spa Seekers: If your dream getaway involves soaking under the stars, Cloud Chaser (005) and Hickory Heights (006) are your go-to spots. These two feature private hot tubs for the relaxation experience.

  

• The Ultimate Escape: For those who want to feel like the only people left on earth, Bluegrass Bluff (001) sits at the very end of the line. It’s our most secluded spot with a totally unobstructed view of the Kentucky horizon.

The Path to The Point

The heart of the property is The Point. To get there, you follow the path past Blackhawk (our modern cabin neighbor). This is the "Grand View." It’s a communal space designed for the big moments—whether that’s a morning yoga session, a sunset toast, an engagement or simply standing at the edge of the world to see the Gorge in all its glory. It’s the furthest point of our ridgetop, and it’s all yours to enjoy.
